Fiji is a master educator and retreat host known for her strong, intentional vinyasa classes rooted in power, precision, and presence. With training across California, Costa Rica, and Canada, she brings a global perspective to her teaching. At LAB YTT, she supports future teachers in building confidence, clarity, and conscious movement.

Anatomy Trainer

Peter is a certified Athletic Therapist, Osteopath, and Yoga Instructor who brings an integrative approach to anatomy and movement. Leading the anatomy portion of LAB YTT, he blends clinical precision with the wisdom of yoga to offer a grounded, accessible understanding of the body—supporting teachers in building strength, balance, and insight.

Philosophy Trainer

Jonni-Lyn Friel is a seasoned E-RYT 500 and Jivamukti teacher who has been guiding students since 2006. Leading the philosophy portion of LAB YTT, she shares yoga as a path of service, with a deep love for the Bhagavad Gita. With roots in Anusara and Vinyasa, she brings wisdom, warmth, and devotion to her teaching.

Support Trainer

Tara brings over two decades of dedicated practice and study across traditions including Sivananda and Kula Yoga. Teaching since 2008, she is known for her thoughtful sequencing and intentional class theming. In LAB YTT, she offers deep support to trainees—guiding them in building strong, intelligent sequences rooted in awareness, strength, and flow.

Roots Hot Trainer

Pilar teaches from a place of curiosity, heart, and humour—inviting students to show up with courage and compassion. At LAB YTT, she supports the Hot Roots training and leads an introduction to sound, offering a mindful, breath-centred approach that creates space for connection, exploration, and growth.

Training Support + Business Trainer

Kamila is the owner of LAB Westshore, supporting the team, building community, and teaching across both locations. With 10+ years of experience and 800+ training hours, she supports LAB YTT, co-leads the Hot training, and teaches the Business of Yoga—bringing a practical, grounded approach to teacher development.

Subtle Body Trainer

Sheena, owner of LAB Victoria, brings a thoughtful and rooted perspective to the LAB YTT. Drawing from her time studying in India, she shares teachings on the koshas and chakras - inviting trainees to explore the deeper layers of practice beyond the physical.
